Regular maintenance on your vehicle ensures the best performance, gas mileage and safety. Keeping your car tuned up is an integral part of maintenance and should be done at 30k, 60k, 90k miles. Keeping your brakes in perfect working order is essential for your safety as well as others on the road. At SCM Performance Automotive your safety is a top priority of ours. We will thoroughly inspect your vehicle for any worn or warped rotors and brakes and give you an estimate right away.
CAR SERVICING
Many people talk about servicing a vehicle but how often should you do it? Every 3,000 miles you should have your fluids checked and oil and filter changed. However we take it a step further and give your vehicle a comprehensive inspection, note any and all problems that the vehicle is having as well as any potential problems that we see could be developing. We prefer to stop issues before they occur, otherwise the damage that may result can end up costing you thousands in repairs. Let’s work together in keeping your vehicles in top working order.
TRANSMISSIONS AND ENGINES
When a vehicle has reached a number of miles certain components will start to break down from normal wear and tear. Transmissions and engines are two of the most notorious for doing so. Here at SCM Performance Automotive we will service and maintain your vehicle to help extend the life of your engine and transmission but if you find your vehicle is making a strange noise, "bucking" while shifting gears or anything peculiar we will be happy to access the problem and give you an estimate for any work that may need to be done.
